I was super impressed by the Royal Wedding. Like most people I was expecting opulent and over the top, but Kate and Will did a superb job of owning the day and making it special to them.
Their wedding day was simple, elegant and personal. They thought of others by inviting the head of each charity they support, they made sure their friends and family had prime seats, the flowers and details of the ceremony for just their for show they had symbolism and represented the couple and who they are! It was a real family wedding, celebrating the couples love for each other and the commitment they were making in front of God.
Kate's was stunning and perfectly proportioned to her body and showed off her style and elegance. She is a natural beauty and the love, sincerity and joy that shines out of her heart makes her a stunning person! And you could feel the happiness and excitement she felt as she waved to the crowds as she made her way to the Abbey. And I congratulate her on keeping her dress a secret it made the day even more special.
William was handsome as ever, and his whispers to his wife to be just proclaimed to her and the world how much he loved her and the happiness he had in his heart at the moment, seeing her for the first time. I take my hat off to him for facing forward while Harry gave running commentary on the bride coming up the aisle. Maybe it's protocol but that is a serious thing to ask a guy not to get the full picture of beauty of his bride as she glides up the aisle.
The carriage ride back to the Palace showed their dignity as a couple and the pure joy the felt for each other and their fans!! The are the perfect picture of a loving couple who have many more years of happiness to come!
The kiss on the balcony was sincere, appropriate and real!
But I believe the photo of the day and the summoned up the couple was the photo of them in the Aston Martin driving down the Mall, they were a young couple who'd just got married and didn't have a care in the world! You get see the love, fun and friendship oozing out of the vehicle.
Seeing Kate's evening gown and William in a tux I knew it would be a party to remember and I hope they all had a ball!
Congratulations to William and Kate I wish you a long happy marriage with blessings of love and children!
I wait to see what Harry's wedding will be like!
